We absolutely loved being able to capture the love between Gillian and Steven during their wedding day at The Oaks!
Their Story:
We met in university and it was basically love at first sight. I was in an abusive relationship at the time and I kept denying how I felt because I was trying to make it work with my ex, which of course never works, so I broke it off with him and that was that. Then he harassed me for six months when he found out I got together with Steven, which really brought us closer than we already had been. That was two years ago, and now we’re getting married!
The Proposal:
He proposed last year in September in the classroom where we first met and became friends. He and our friend played it off like we were going to talk to a professor about something. I almost missed him on one knee because my coat was covering my face a little bit and I was going to sit down and wait for the professor and he grabs me and pulls me to him then proposed! We still laugh about it to this day.
