Hilary and Leslie’s wedding day at The Saluda Inn was such a memorable event for all involved! We were honored to be a part of such a special day for Hilary and Leslie.
Their Story:
One fateful day, six years ago, two strangers were at The Community Tap. As Hilary explains, when she saw Leslie walk in, everything disappeared and she thought ‘I have to know who this girl is’. One year later, they were officially introduced; but another two years passed before they went on their official first date.
Leslie is a planner and Hilary is spontaneous. Hilary had mentioned one of her musical loves being cellos and violins, specifically 2Cellos. ‘The planner’ immediately took to the internet to find where and when 2Cellos were touring. As fate continued to work, they were performing in Greenville that night! Unbeknownst of that fateful day six years ago, Leslie asked Hilary to meet at The Community Tap prior to the concert…and the rest is history!
The Proposal:
On November 24, 2021 Leslie proposed to Hilary on the helicopter pad at Hotel Domestique, over a picnic lunch complete with all Hilary’s favorites – charceuterie, chocolate covered strawberries, and music. Hilary said YES, even after Leslie’s ugly cry and incoherent proposal.
