Our partner photographers, Angela and Zack had such a great time capturing a day of love with Blake and Ethan for their amazing wedding in Downtown Greenville.
Their Story:
The couple actually met through a friend at church in 2013 where Ethan was joining a friend as a guest for one of the services and Blake was a part of the church musician team as a drummer and pianist. They initially bonded over a mutual love for 80’s music and their personalities just seemed to clicked. Ethan and Blake went on to enjoy traveling together and eventually made their home in Duncan, SC where they live today.
The Proposal:
Ethan and Blake decided to go on a double date with another couple that have been friends of theirs for several years to visit Mount Mitchell in NC. This was their first visit and it ended up being a beautiful day for it. They all made it to the summit and began just taking in the scenery which provided a view that expanded for miles. Mt. Mitchell is known for being the highest peak of the Appalachian Mountains and the highest peak in mainland eastern North America. They posed for a picture together and while mid pose, Ethan lowered to a knee and asked the big question. Blake said “of course” and they stayed at the summit for a bit before leaving to catch their breath and take in more of the scenery!
